Supermarket in Vrbno pod Pradědem
Ujházy, Denis ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The content of this bachelor thesis is a design solution and check load-carrying steel frame structure of the supermarket in Vrbno pod Pradědem. The square plan dimensions are 32,00 x 60,00 m and ridge level is 12,55 m. The structure is designed as a single hall, the construction system is built of two-pinned cross frame with an axial distance of 6,00 m between main frames. The hall has a saddle roof with an inclination of 10°. All the cross-sections of the main load-bearing elements are plate and made of the same steel category.
Locksmithery
Benýšek, David ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with design of the load-bearing steel structure of locksmithery, which is located in the village Oldřichovice, in the old collective farm complex. The structure is designed for ultimate and serviceability according to normative requirements ČSN EN. The construction has a width 8,32 m, a length 20 m and a syntactical height 6,0 m. It is a structure consisting of transverse framework bindings at a distance of 5,0 meters from each other. For all elements was used steel S355. In the building is designed bridge crane EKKE about the capacity 5t from company DEMAG. The work consists of a static calculation, which assessed individual cross-sections and joints and also contains drawings and engineering report.
Road II/373 In Stage Benešov – Brodek u Konice - Location Study
Vidourková, Kristýna ; Matuszková, Radka (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is location study road II/373 in the section path Benešov-Brodek u Konice. Benešov is situated in the district of Blansko, region Jihomoravský and village Brodek u Konice located in district of Prostějov, region Olomoucký. The road is designed in three variants and the options are compared to each other and one of them is designed in detail. The objective of study is design road, reduce traffic intensity and increase safety in ambient villages.

Gargulák, Martin ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The objective of this work is a design solution and check load-carrying steel construction of the sports hall. The square plan dimensions are 28x28 m, the ridge level is 11,5 m. The building is located in Vsetín. The building construction is designed as a single hall, the construction system is built of a three-hinged main frame. Centre to centre spacing main frame is 5,6 m. The hall has a saddle roof and its inclination is 10°. The cross-sections of the main load-bearing elements are plate.
Study of reaction cross-sections important for advanced nuclear systems
Chudoba, Petr ; Wagner, Vladimír (advisor) ; Krása, Antonín (referee) ; Krtička, Milan (referee)
The doctoral thesis is focused on measurements of neutron cross-sections mainly cross-sections of (n,xn) threshold reactions. With the dawn of advanced nuclear systems such as fast reactors of GenIV, accelerator driven system or even fusion reactors, monitoring of fast neutron fields will gain on importance. The activation detectors are one of the viable options how to monitor these neutron fields and (n,xn) reactions would be one of the best options how to do such monitoring. There is one condition though. We need to have good cross- section data in high neutron energy region. Unfortunately, the current situation is rather bad. There is only a small amount of reliable data for neutron energies above 20 MeV and with increasing energy, the situation gets only worse. For this reason, we measure the cross-sections of (n,xn) reactions on perspective materials such as yttrium, gold and tantalum with neutron energies from 17.4 up to 94 MeV. In this thesis, the measurements together with motivation and methodology are described. Obtained results are in agreement with existing data. Severe discrepancies were observed between the predictions and experimental data for high order (n,xn) reactions. This problem is discussed and solved. The results in this region are in form of cross-section values and also...
Production Of Isomeric States In The Deuteron-Induced Reaction Of Gold At Incident Energy 44 Gev
Melyan, Elmira
Gold targets were irradiated by 4.4GeV deuteron beam at Nuclotron in the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, Russia. Residual nuclei were formed at ground and isomeric states from the interaction of deuteron and gold target, which have been measured and investigated by the induced-activity method. Cross sections of ground and isomeric states were obtained with corresponding isomer ratios of nuclides formed by the reaction as a result of this study.
The Process of Cross Section Generation for Reactor Core Simulations
Novotný, Filip
Reactor core safety analysis is a complex problem and needs processed input data and cannot be performed without it. For this purpose several nuclear programs exist. A suitable nuclear programs as well as the motivation of the generation are given in this study. This article also summarizes methods and steps needed for the homogenized cross-section generation and provides basic instruction and settings needed to provide these simulations and accomplished this research and gives basic instruction and information about problems and programs which can occur during the cross-section generation. Finally, there is proposed cross-sections structure suitable for safety analysis with reactor core simulator PARCS.
